Olly Murs to release Dear Darlin'

Musician Olly Murs is set to drop his new track 'Dear Darling' on the 2nd of June. Fellow singer and songwrite, Ed Drewwett co-wrote the song with the international star. The song has been reported as a heartfelt ballad, compared to the sound of the up beat, pop anthem of his previous singles 'Troublemaker' ft. Flo Rida and 'Army of Two.'

"Writing with Ed and him being my friend helped, as we sat there for hours before writing, going over old relationships and recalling their scenarios." Says Murs. "Its about writing to someone to tell them how I feel about losing someone. Its not the kind of song you'd expect me and Ed to write, as we're bubbly characters, but we open up to each other."

Ollys album 'Right Place Right Now' is currently at double platinum status in the UK, since its release in November. Its currently sitting at #5 in the iTunes chart, as it was just realed in the US this week. Murs is currently promoting the album in America and is receiving a rapturous from fans.

Olly's song 'Dance With Me Tonight' has been nominated for an Ivor Novello award. "I'm thrilled to be nominated for an Ivor Nevello award! To be recognised as a songwriter by something so prestigious as the Ivors really means a lot to me." Murs said.
